We created a tasty amalgamation of East and West! Delicious spiced tea recipes and unique flavors from West Africa melded with tea fermentation traditions from China.

Our Impact

Zobucha wants to help make a difference in the lives of the people around us. Join us on our mission to support under-served communities in need.

5% of our profits from every can of Zobucha will go towards causes alleviating food insecurity in West African communities.

We plan to routinely donate kombucha to organizations and community programs in need of healthy food products.

Founder & CEO

Oyinkan Bakare

Hello! I’m Oyinkan, the founder & CEO of Zobucha. I’m originally from Nigeria and I’m very passionate about health and wellness. I grew up drinking spiced hibiscus tea, called zobo, which was brewed with a variety of fruits to bring out different flavors. Living in the US for many years, I came across kombucha and was instantly obsessed. One day I decided I wanted to experience the fizz and gut health benefits from kombucha, but with the delicious and unique flavors of zobo. Now I’m on a mission to share this yummy bubbly creation with the world!

Godfred Naah

Hello! I’m Godfred, the co-founder & COO of Zobucha. I’m originally from Ghana and I’m passionate about building this exciting global brand. I grew up drinking the Ghanaian version of zobo, called sobolo, and it tastes like home to me. I’m excited to bring a taste of West Africa to the forefront and have people experience fun new flavors with all the added health benefits!
